And with more than 100 million photos shared on it each day, it’s no wonder that this platform is so popular.

But how do you know which Instagram influencer will work best for your brand? How can you find out which ones have the most followers? Which ones would be ideal for your niche?

How to Find Influential People On Instagram | Top 10 Marketing Tips Video Transcript: Hi guys, welcome back to my youtube channel. TodayI’m going to show you the top 10 ways to find influential people on instagram. Now, some of these might seem obvious because there are certain hashtags out there that everyone knows. But when it comes to finding influential people, sometimes its not always that simple. So today I’m gonna walk you through my personal approach to finding folks on Instagram whether its friends or family, celebrities or just people in general. So, first things first, you wanna make sure you have an account. Its free and its pretty easy to set up. So head on over to www.instagram.com and create your profile. Once you’re done creating your profile, the next thing you wanna do is search for relevant hashtags related to your niche. For example, if I were selling makeup products, I’d probably search something like makeup or beauty or even cosmetics. If I were into fashion, I might search something like fashion or style or even glamour. Whatever it is that you’re interested in, just keep searching until you find relevant hashtags. Then, once you’ve found those hashtags, you wanna start following people that use those hashtags. Now, one thing that I recommend is using the app called followgram. Follow gram allows you to see who follows whom on Instagram. So if someone follows you back, you’ll see their username below their profile picture. This way you can easily identify folks that you should be following. Another tip is to go to their bio and check out their recent posts. That way you can see what kind of content they post and determine if you think they’d be a good fit for your brand. Now, once you’re following these folks, you can comment on their pictures and tag them in your own posts. The idea here is to build relationships by commenting on their pictures and tagging them in your own content. So, now that you have identified some folks that you want to connect with, its time to reach out. There are several different methods that you can use to contact these folks directly. One method is to send them a direct message via Instagram. You can also try emailing them at their website. Some folks will respond to emails while others won’t. So, if you don’t hear from them after sending them an email, then feel free to follow up another day. Another option is to leave a comment on their photos asking them questions. Again, this may not work for everybody so you’ll have to test out each person individually. Now, once you’ve reached out to these folks and made connections, its time to start engaging with them. The best way to engage with them is to ask them questions. Ask them how they got started doing what they do. Ask them what inspires them. Ask them what keeps them motivated. Ask them what advice they would give to other influencers. Ask them about their business. And most importantly, ask them about themselves. When you’re talking to them, remember to listen more than talk. Listen to what they say and take notes. Take note of any common themes that they mention. Also, pay attention to their body language. Are they smiling? Are they frowning? Do they look relaxed or stressed? Pay attention to all of these little details and you’ll get a better sense of what’s really going on behind the scenes. Now, as you continue building relationships with these folks, you’ll eventually notice that they begin posting more often. In fact, they might even start sharing your content. At this point, you’ll know that you’ve connected with somebody that has potential to become an important part of your team. So, now that we’ve covered the basics, let me show you my top ten tips for finding influential people on Instagram. Number 1 – Use Hashtags. Hashtags are a great tool for identifying people who share similar interests. For example, if you sell makeup, you could search for makeup or beauty or even cosmetic. If you’re into fashion, you could search for fashion or style or even glamorous. And if you’re looking for folks who are already active on social media, you could search for popular hashtags like selfie or followback. Number 2 – Search for Relevant Hashtags. As we discussed earlier, hashtags are a great way to identify people who share similar interests as yourself. However, you need to make sure that the tags that you’re searching for are actually relevant to your product or service. So, if you’re selling makeup, you wouldn’t search for makeup because you’d end up following tons of makeup artists instead of actual customers. Instead, you might search for makeup tutorials or makeup tips. Number 3 – Look for Popular Accounts. Now, when you’re searching for people on Instagram, you don’t necessarily need to limit yourself to only searching for accounts that have thousands of followers. In fact, you can find plenty of folks who have less than 100 followers but still have a lot of influence.
