How often should you send follow-up emails after receiving a rejection or no response from someone?

There are several reasons why you might get a rejection or no response. Maybe they didn’t read your message, maybe they don’t want to talk to you, or maybe they simply forgot about you. Whatever the reason, it’s important to stay persistent and continue sending messages until you receive a positive response.

You should always try to send follow-up emails at least once every two weeks. If you wait longer than that, you risk being forgotten.

Why send a follow-up email after no response?

The best way to make sure you aren’t forgotten is to send another email within 2 weeks of when you first sent the initial message. You can do this by using an autoresponder service like MailChimp or AWeber.

If you don’t have access to one of these services, you can still use the same method I recommend for getting started with email marketing:

1) Create a new contact in your CRM (like Salesforce).

2) Add the person as a “Favorite” so you can easily find them later.

3) Include their name and phone number in your initial email.

4) Set up an autoresponder to send a follow-up reminder email to them at least once every two week. This will ensure that they never forget about you.

5) Wait for a response!

6) If you haven’t heard back from them in a couple weeks, then you know they either ignored your email or they just weren’t interested. In either case, you can move on to the next person on your list.

7) Continue sending emails until you reach the top of your sales funnel.

8) When you finally close a deal, you can send a thank you note to the person who helped you out.

9) Repeat steps 1 through 8 over again if necessary.

10) Rinse and repeat.

This process works because people tend to be busy during the workweek. They may not check their mailboxes daily, but they definitely check their inboxes at some point each day. So if you send a message to them on Monday morning, you can expect to hear back from them sometime between Wednesday and Friday.

This means that if you send a message on Tuesday afternoon, you can expect to receive a reply by Thursday evening. It also means that if you send multiple messages to different people on the same day, you can expect to see responses from all of them within the same time frame.

Remember, you don’t need to send more than three messages per day. Just keep track of how many times you send a message and only send additional ones if you haven’t received a response yet.

And remember, there’s nothing wrong with waiting a few days before following up with a second message. People usually take a while to respond to emails, especially if they’re working on something else.

So what if you don’t hear anything in a few days? Don’t worry. Keep going.

Just because someone hasn’t responded doesn’t mean they’ve completely dismissed you. Sometimes people ignore your messages because they’re too busy or they don’t feel comfortable talking to you right now. Or maybe they just hate you and won’t even bother reading your message. But if you keep sending messages, eventually you’ll get lucky and one of those people will respond.

Just be patient and keep reaching out. Eventually you’ll get your chance to sell to them. And when you do, you’ll be glad you didn’t give up after receiving no response.

When to Follow Up After No Response

I mentioned earlier that it takes a little bit of patience to wait for a response. That’s true, but here are some guidelines on when to start following up after a no response.

If you sent an email to someone last month and they haven’t replied, it probably isn’t worth following up with another message. You could try calling them instead, but chances are they’re already too busy to talk to you.

But if you sent an email to them last week and they still haven’t replied… well, that’s a good sign. Chances are they’re very busy right now, so you should follow up with another message.

But if you sent two messages to them in the past week and neither got a response, then you might want to consider trying a third time. This is especially true if you have a specific reason why you think they’d be interested in your product/service.

For example, if you were selling software and you thought they would be interested in using it, you might want to try contacting them again. If you had a special offer or deal for them, you might want to reach out as well.

But if you don’ t know why you think they‘d be interested in your service, you shouldn’t waste any more time trying to contact them. Instead, focus on finding other potential customers who fit your ideal customer profile.

The best way to find new leads is through social media marketing. I recommend starting with LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.

LinkedIn: LinkedIn is the most popular professional networking site on the internet. It has over 500 million users worldwide, which makes it a great place to connect with business professionals.

Twitter: Twitter is a microblogging platform where you can share short messages (called tweets) about whatever you like. There are lots of ways to use Twitter to generate leads, including posting links to blog posts, articles, videos, etc., retweeting relevant content from others, joining groups related to your niche, and searching for hashtags.

Facebook: Facebook is the world’s largest social network. With 1 billion active monthly users, it’s a great place to build relationships with other businesses and companies.

Instagram: Instagram is a photo sharing app that allows you to post pictures and video clips. The best part about Instagram is that it’s free to use. So there’s no excuse not to start using this powerful lead generation tool!

Conclusion

Email marketing is one of the most effective forms of online lead generation because it’s cost-effective, easy to set up, and highly targeted. But it requires persistence and patience to succeed.

You need to send emails consistently every day until you receive a positive response. And once you do, make sure you respond quickly and politely.

Remember, even though you may not hear back immediately, that doesn’t mean you won’t eventually get their attention. Keep at it, and you will eventually convert those leads into sales.
