Vision and Mission

What does your company stand for? What values do you want to convey to your customers? How do you want them to perceive your brand?

A good vision and mission statement helps companies define their purpose and goals. They also serve as a guidepost for employees and stakeholders alike.

A well-written vision and mission statement can help businesses achieve success. In addition, they provide a framework for building a strong culture and guiding decision-making processes.

How to Write a Mission Statement

Writing a mission statement requires careful planning. Start by defining the overall purpose of the organization. Next, think about what kind of services or products the organization offers. Finally, consider how those services benefit the client. You’ll need to make sure that each element of the mission statement complements the others.

What is a Mission Statement?

Mission statements are written documents that describe what an organization stands for and why it exists. The document should be short (3–5 sentences) and specific about the organization’s purpose. It may include some of the following elements:

An organizational goal or objective

A description of the services offered by the organization

A list of products or services provided by the organization

A description of how the organization will accomplish its objectives

An organizational goal or objective

An organizational goal or objective is typically stated in the form “To provide X service.” This is followed by a verb phrase such as “to offer” or “to deliver,” which describes the type of product or service being offered. For example, one mission statement might read: “Our mission is to provide quality customer service.” Another could state: “We strive to ensure our clients receive prompt and reliable service.”

A description of the services offered by the organization

The second part of a mission statement usually describes the services offered by the business. A typical sentence would state something like this: “We are committed to providing high-quality products at competitive prices.” Or, another common sentence would say: “We are dedicated to providing excellence in all areas of our work.”
